
About MAAK

MAAK was established in 2014 and registered in 2015 in Kenya as a Company and is the only body that specifically represents the motorcycle assembly industry, to provide an open forum for the exchange of ideas in which members may identify, discuss and pursue common interests related to the members’ commercial activities
MAAK also offers guidance to members on various government policies with respect to business, banking, taxation, record keeping, and technical aspects of their products especially maintaining and improving the quality standards.
MAAK provides an open forum for the exchange of ideas in which members may identify, discuss and pursue common interests related to the members’ commercial activities.
It also serves as a collective voice of members promoting activities through dialogue, consultation, coordination and cooperation initiatives with the regard to the motorcycle industry.
It also serves as an official channel of communication between members and the Government of Kenya, industrial or public bodies (whether local or foreign), policy makers (whether local or foreign), other industrial and trade associations and any other organizations.
MAAK represents the views of members on various issues of concern and to encourage and support government policies which protect members’ interests.
We also collect, collate, analyze and disseminate information pertaining to the motorcycle industry to our members.
Our Objectives
- Promote Safe and lawful motorcycle culture in Kenya.
- Spur economic development of Kenya through increased employment and revenue generation.
- Safeguard justified rights of Motorcycle Assemblers in Kenya.

- To grow the business volumes of the association
- To have institutional systems that support consistent, effective and accountable operations
- To put in place good governance and good talent management system
- To enhance PR, marketing and business development as well as build capacity of the association
- To focus and strengthen research and development that support creation and sharing of knowledge.
